The 2026-27 Serie A season opens with no goalkeeper holding a decisive edge for the most clean sheets, as reflected in the bunched implied probabilities. Strong defensive units at Inter, Napoli, Juventus, and Atalanta, combined with capable starters like Jean Butez, Mile Svilar, and Mike Maignan, create a wide distribution of expected outcomes. Pre-season roster stability, varying fixture difficulties, and the typical spread of shutouts across 20 teams keep the market competitive. Historical patterns show clean-sheet leaders rarely exceed 15-18 per campaign, and early injuries or tactical shifts could quickly alter trajectories before the winter window.
