Mitch Marner’s dominant position in the Stanley Cup Finals market stems from his record-setting performance, including the fastest hat trick in Finals history during Game 3, where he netted three goals in 6:10 to fuel a 5-4 double-overtime win for the Vegas Golden Knights. The former Maple Leafs forward leads all playoff skaters with 28 points (10 goals, 18 assists) in 19 games entering Game 6 of the best-of-seven series against the Carolina Hurricanes, showcasing elite playmaking and finishing that has outpaced teammates like Jack Eichel and opponents. Traders view this offensive momentum, combined with Vegas’s high-event style, as making a multi-goal outburst from Marner the most probable single-game outcome. Other contenders such as Ivan Barbashev or Seth Jarvis remain long shots due to lower usage and production. An injury, defensive clampdown by Carolina, or series conclusion without additional high-scoring affairs could shift implied probabilities.
