This market will resolve to "Yes" if the team winning 1st place at the Demacia Cup Global Invitational 2026, currently scheduled for October 3 to October 17, 2026, is a Western team. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A Western team is a team that qualified for the tournament through the LEC (Europe / EMEA), the LCS (North America), or the CBLOL (Brazil). Teams that qualified through the LCK (South Korea), the LPL (China), or the LCP (Asia-Pacific) are not Western teams. If the winner of the Demacia Cup Global Invitational 2026 is not determined by October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the tournament is canceled or postponed past that date, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizers, TJ Sports and Huya. However, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/leagueoflegends/Demacia_Cup_Global_Invitational/2026) may also be used.**Eastern regional depth and historical performance underpin the 61% implied probability on No for a Western winner at the 2026 Demacia Cup Global Invitational.** The 12-team field draws mid-table squads from each region that missed Worlds 2026—LPL and LCK sending three teams each (5th–7th seeds), LEC and LCS two apiece (4th–5th), and single entries from LCP and CBLOL. LPL and LCK rosters maintain advantages in talent depth, macro execution, and individual skill even among non-elite sides, consistent with long-standing patterns in international play. Western teams encounter additional hurdles from trans-Pacific travel, the offline bracket hosted at Beijing’s JD Esports Center, and limited recent head-to-head success against Eastern competition. Trader pricing reflects this consensus on Eastern favorites while acknowledging the single-elimination format’s inherent variance and the possibility of an upset run by a strong LEC or LCS side.
