Rockstar Games' official June 2026 pre-order reveal locked the standard edition of GTA 6 at $79.99, with an Ultimate tier at $99.99, directly anchoring trader consensus that the base price will stay below $100. This pricing aligns with recent AAA trends, including Nintendo's similar $80 strategy, while avoiding the revenue risks highlighted in consumer surveys showing $70–$80 maximizes sales volume for a high-profile open-world blockbuster. Strong pre-order momentum and Rockstar's focus on mass appeal further reinforce the market-implied 97.7% probability on "No." Realistic upset scenarios remain limited to a last-minute price hike before the 2026 launch or redefinition of what constitutes the core edition, though historical patterns and the confirmed structure make such shifts improbable.
