Rockstar Games' official pre-order launch in late June 2026 established the standard edition of Grand Theft Auto VI at $79.99, with an Ultimate Edition at $99.99, aligning with the new AAA benchmark set by titles like Mario Kart World and reflecting Take-Two's strategy for broad accessibility ahead of the November 19 release. This confirmed pricing, paired with strong pre-order momentum on PlayStation and Xbox stores, has anchored trader consensus at a 97.8% probability against a $100+ base cost. Historical patterns for major Rockstar releases and the absence of any announced increases since the reveal further reinforce the market-implied odds. A realistic upset would require an unexpected price hike closer to launch, though no credible signals point to that shift given current industry trends and consumer expectations.
