This market will resolve to "Yes" if Novak Djokovic officially announces his retirement from ATP Tour professional tennis by the specified date, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". To resolve "Yes", the announcement must clearly state that Novak Djokovic is retiring or indefinitely departing from ATP Tour professional tennis with intention of not participating in any event that contributes to an ATP ranking. The announcement must come from Novak Djokovic or official representatives thereof. Only announcements which are framed as announcing a departure from professional competition intended to be effective within 12 months of the date of the announcement will qualify (e.g., neither "I will leave competition in 2 years," nor "I will not play forever," would qualify). If Djokovic retires in a qualifying manner but maintains, renews, or announces his intention to participate in the Olympics, that retirement will still qualify. Olympic participation, or participation in a tennis competition which does not contribute to an ATP ranking, will have no bearing on this market. The primary resolution source for this market will be official statements from the named individual or authorized representatives thereof.Novak Djokovic, at age 39, continues competing on the ATP Tour with focus on Grand Slam events and the year-end championships. His recent results at the Australian Open and French Open, combined with strong showings on grass leading into Wimbledon, shape trader views on whether a retirement announcement will come before year-end or the 2027 season. Factors include physical recovery demands from a long career, potential schedule management around hard-court swings, and any official comments on motivation or legacy goals. Head-to-head history against younger rivals and ranking implications also factor into assessments of how long he sustains top-level play. No confirmed retirement timeline or major injury updates have surfaced in recent weeks, leaving the market sensitive to post-tournament statements or 2026 season performance.
