This market will resolve to "Yes" if Spotify officially reports 1 billion or more Total Monthly Active Users in its Q4 2026 earnings report. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." For the purposes of this market, the 1 billion figure must be explicitly reflected in the "Total Monthly Active Users (MAUs)" figure in Spotify's official Q4 2026 earnings report. This includes both free (ad-supported) and paid (premium) users combined. Analyst estimates, third-party projections, or figures from any other reporting period will not count. If Spotify's Q4 2026 earnings report has not been officially published by February 28, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No." The primary resolution source for this market will be Spotify's official investor relations communications (https://investors.spotify.com). Spotify’s Q1 2026 results showed 761 million monthly active users, up 12% year-over-year but still well short of the 1 billion mark needed by year-end. The company’s May Investor Day explicitly set its 1 billion user target for 2030, underscoring that current quarterly adds of roughly 10–17 million will not close the gap in the remaining months. Strong premium subscriber growth to 293 million and steady engagement metrics support continued expansion, yet historical patterns and recent guidance point to roughly 820–850 million MAUs by December. Traders therefore price a modest edge for missing the 2026 threshold, with any acceleration in emerging-market adoption or new AI-driven features as the main swing factors before year-end.
