This market will resolve to "Yes" if Spotify officially reports 1 billion or more Total Monthly Active Users in its Q4 2026 earnings report. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." For the purposes of this market, the 1 billion figure must be explicitly reflected in the "Total Monthly Active Users (MAUs)" figure in Spotify's official Q4 2026 earnings report. This includes both free (ad-supported) and paid (premium) users combined. Analyst estimates, third-party projections, or figures from any other reporting period will not count. If Spotify's Q4 2026 earnings report has not been officially published by February 28, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No." The primary resolution source for this market will be Spotify's official investor relations communications (https://investors.spotify.com). This market and these products have not been endorsed by Spotify. Any references to Spotify, Spotify charts, streaming data, or any associated marks are descriptive only and do not indicate an endorsement of this product or any affiliation between Spotify and Polymarket. Spotify and related marks are the property of Spotify AB and its group companies.Spotify’s monthly active users stood at 777 million as of June 30, 2026, following steady 12% year-over-year growth from 751 million at the end of 2025 and sequential adds of roughly 10–16 million per quarter. Management guidance points to 788 million by the end of Q3, with the company explicitly targeting 1 billion users by 2030 rather than 2026. This measured pace reflects deliberate focus on monetization, gross-margin expansion to 33.4%, and profitability improvements alongside regional growth in emerging markets, rather than the aggressive acceleration required to close a 200-plus-million gap in the final months of the year. Historical patterns and quarterly trajectories reinforce trader consensus around the “No” outcome at 96% implied probability. A realistic upset would require an unprecedented surge—driven by viral platform features, major content deals, or sudden penetration spikes in high-population regions—capable of roughly doubling the recent quarterly run rate before year-end, an outcome the company’s own long-term roadmap and earnings commentary do not support.
