Early 2026 WNBA standings reflect a tightly contested championship race, with the Las Vegas Aces, Minnesota Lynx, and New York Liberty posting the strongest records through mid-June while the Atlanta Dream and Dallas Wings remain within striking distance. The Aces benefit from roster continuity around A’ja Wilson and strong recent form, the Lynx leverage elite defense and depth, and the Liberty maintain high-end talent despite minor injury concerns. Expansion sides like the Golden State Valkyries add uncertainty but trail in implied probability. Multiple contenders’ comparable win percentages and head-to-head splits keep trader consensus balanced, underscoring how quickly momentum can shift in a league defined by parity and late-season surges.
