Nepal Women and Malaysia Women meet in the second semi-final of the Asian Games Women's T20I Qualifier at Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur, with the winner advancing toward the main tournament. Nepal enters on strong recent form after a 2-0 T20I series victory over Malaysia on the same ground earlier in May, showcasing disciplined bowling and effective chasing. Malaysia countered with mixed group-stage results, including a win over Hong Kong, and benefits from home conditions and familiarity with the pitch. Head-to-head records favor Nepal in recent T20Is, though both sides feature competitive top orders and spin options suited to the venue. Toss outcomes and late lineup adjustments remain key variables in this closely contested knockout encounter.
