Kia Tigers hold the edge in this KBO matchup at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field thanks to stronger recent form and a healthier roster. SSG Landers have dealt with multiple pitching setbacks, including foreign starter Mitch White’s rotator cuff injury that sidelined him for at least six weeks, along with outfielder Kim Sung-wook’s grade-one issue, which has contributed to a 2-6-1 record in May. SSG sits fourth in the standings at 19-16-1, while Kia remains within striking distance of the leaders with improved offensive output, highlighted by Aderlin Rodriguez’s early power surge. The implied probability reflects traders’ assessment of Kia’s home-field advantage and SSG’s depleted rotation against a lineup that has shown better consistency in recent weeks.
