Multiple clubs enter the 2026 Eliteserien campaign with comparable squad depth and recent momentum, leaving no dominant candidate for second place behind frontrunners like Bodø/Glimt. Vålerenga, newly promoted or re-established in the top flight, sits mid-table after 16 matches yet leads market pricing on the strength of occasional high-scoring results and squad investment. Lillestrøm, another promoted side, and established names such as Viking, Tromsø, Molde, Brann, and Rosenborg occupy similar points-per-game ranges, with form swings, head-to-head splits, and home/away records preventing any single team from pulling clear. This parity in club strength and schedule difficulty sustains the tight implied probabilities across the group.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Norway Eliteserien for the 2026 season per the rules of Norway Eliteserien (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Norway Eliteserien; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
