The Austrian Bundesliga's 2026-27 runner-up race remains tightly bunched due to broad squad parity and an open title chase after LASK's breakthrough championship. Multiple clubs, including Sturm Graz, Red Bull Salzburg, Rapid Wien, and Wolfsberger AC, enter pre-season with comparable roster depth following active summer transfer windows and coaching adjustments such as Salzburg's appointment of Thomas Letsch. Recent form from the prior campaign, where Sturm Graz finished second and several sides challenged for European spots, plus balanced head-to-head records and home/away splits, underpin the even implied probabilities. No single team holds a decisive edge in schedule strength or key personnel availability heading into the August kickoff.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Austrian Bundesliga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Austrian Bundesliga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Austrian Bundesliga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
