**Team Spirit defeated MOUZ 3-1 in the BLAST Open Porto 2026 grand final on September 6, securing the title.** The 16-team field, led by Valve Regional Standings invites and regional qualifiers, featured established rosters such as Spirit, Falcons, Vitality, MOUZ, G2, FURIA, and Natus Vincere. These sides have multiple prior BLAST Premier wins, including Vitality’s victory at the preceding Open Rotterdam 2026 and MOUZ’s recent BLAST Bounty success. The near-99.6% implied probability on “No” for a first-time BLAST champion reflects the overwhelming strength and experience of the top seeds. Spirit and Falcons entered as co-favorites on the back of strong 2026 form (PGL Astana and IEM Cologne Major titles), while MOUZ and Vitality advanced deep through consistent European results and favorable bracket paths. Lower-seeded teams (M80, Aurora, Inner Circle, Lynn Vision) lacked the map-pool depth, VRS ranking, or recent results to realistically challenge for the trophy in a single-elimination playoff format. Realistic scenarios that could still shift the outcome remain limited to extreme upsets, such as an improbable deep run by a regional qualifier or a major injury/stand-in disruption to multiple favorites. Historical CS2 data shows such breakthroughs are rare at S-tier events, reinforcing trader consensus that the winner would come from the established core.

A prior BLAST event win means a first-place finish by the same organization in any completed Counter-Strike tournament organized by BLAST before the start of BLAST Open Porto 2026, including BLAST Pro Series, BLAST Premier (including its World Finals and other BLAST Premier events), BLAST Bounty, BLAST Open, BLAST Rivals, and any Major championship organized by BLAST. Open, regional, or national qualifiers for BLAST events and show matches will not be considered. Prior wins attach to the organization regardless of roster changes; a win recorded under a different organization by players who later joined the winning team will not count as a prior win for that team.
If BLAST Open Porto 2026 is cancelled, postponed beyond September 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or no winner is declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve 50-50.
The primary resolution source for this market will be HLTV.org; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
