The 2026-27 Premier League season, now in its early weeks, will determine English clubs' qualification for the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League, with the top five sides expected to advance thanks to the league's strong UEFA coefficient securing an extra spot. Defending champions Arsenal enter as the strongest contenders for a top-five finish, backed by squad depth and continuity under Mikel Arteta, though a congested fixture list after the World Cup and potential defensive absences could test them. Manchester City, Chelsea (under Xabi Alonso), Liverpool, and Manchester United remain the primary challengers amid managerial transitions and major summer signings, while Tottenham's heavy investment has yet to yield results in opening matches. Early form, injury updates, and European commitments will shape the race, with promoted sides like Hull and Coventry facing steep challenges to break into the upper table.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Premier League standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Premier League season is cancelled or postponed past May 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
