Trader consensus heavily favors Belgium at 68.5% implied probability to top FIFA World Cup 2026 Group G, driven by their elite FIFA ranking, superior squad depth with Kevin De Bruyne orchestrating midfield dominance, and consistent group-stage advancement history, bolstered by recent returns of Youri Tielemans and Romelu Lukaku from injuries. Egypt holds 17.5% on Mohamed Salah's confirmed recovery from a late-April hamstring tear, positioning them as second-place contenders behind a compact defense and unbeaten CAF qualifiers topping Group A. Iran at 7.7% reflects disciplined Asian qualifying form and defensive resilience, while New Zealand trails at 2.7% despite a historic March 4-1 friendly win over Chile, as their lower ranking underscores matchup disadvantages against higher-caliber opponents. A looming doubt over Belgium defender Zeno Debast's fitness adds minor uncertainty two days ago.
