The 2026 NFL season's early weeks have produced a tightly bunched market for the worst regular-season record because projected win totals for a large cluster of teams sit in a narrow 4- to 7-win range, with no dominant frontrunner emerging after Week 1. Teams such as the Titans, Patriots, Jets, Raiders, Browns, Dolphins, and Cardinals enter with thin rosters, uncertain quarterback play, and recent history of bottom finishes, while new regimes and 2026 draft additions have yet to deliver measurable improvement. Competitive balance is reinforced by similar schedule difficulties, ongoing injury questions, and the inherent variance of a 17-game slate where any of these clubs could finish last or climb toward mediocrity. Trader consensus therefore spreads probability evenly across the group rather than consolidating on a single candidate.

If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to finish the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the worst regular season record, the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If two or more teams finish tied for the worst regular season record, this market will resolve in favor of the tied team that is assigned the earliest selection position in the 2027 NFL Draft under the NFL's draft order tie-breaking procedures (strength of schedule, then the applicable divisional or conference tiebreakers), before accounting for any traded or forfeited selections.
If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 24, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the final regular season standings have not been officially determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL (https://www.nfl.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
