Belgium enters Group G of the 2026 FIFA World Cup as the clear frontrunner in trader pricing, reflecting its superior FIFA ranking, experienced squad featuring Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku, and Thibaut Courtois in what many view as a final push for the aging core, and stronger overall depth compared to the rest of the group. Egypt sits second on the strength of its potent attack led by Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush, offering realistic upset potential in a compact schedule of matches across Los Angeles and Vancouver. Iran faces additional external pressures from ongoing geopolitical tensions that could affect preparation and focus, while New Zealand remains the lowest-ranked side with limited realistic path to the top spot. The expanded 48-team format and top-two (plus possible third) advancement structure further shape these implied probabilities ahead of the June 15 opener.
