Belgium enters the 2026 FIFA World Cup as the clear favorite to win Group G, reflecting the wisdom of crowds in current market pricing driven by the Red Devils' superior FIFA ranking, deeper squad resources, and experience from multiple recent tournaments under coach Rudi Garcia. Egypt and Iran sit in a tight battle for second place, with traders assigning Egypt a modest edge based on their recent form, African Cup pedigree, and attacking options, while Iran's defensive organization and World Cup history keep them competitive despite ongoing external pressures. New Zealand trails significantly as the lowest-ranked side, facing a steep challenge in their first appearance since 2010. Fixtures begin June 15 with Belgium facing Egypt in Seattle, followed by Iran versus New Zealand, setting up a group where the top two advance and Belgium's consistency positions them strongly for an early lead.
