Kai Havertz enters the 2026 World Cup as Germany's primary forward under Julian Nagelsmann, expected to start up top in Group E against Curaçao, Côte d'Ivoire, and Ecuador. He arrives in strong recent form after scoring in Arsenal's Champions League final and adding a goal plus assist in Germany's final warm-up win over the United States. Earlier knee and hamstring issues limited his 2025/26 club minutes, yet he remains fully fit and a focal point amid attacking depth that includes Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz. Germany's favorable early fixtures and his proven international finishing record position him for regular starts and set-piece involvement, though minutes and goal volume will hinge on team rotation and progression depth.
