Aunchisa Chanta enters the ITF W35 Taipei 2 as the No. 7 seed with a WTA ranking near 382 and recent hard-court form that includes straight-set wins in qualifying and the main draw of similar events. The 23-year-old Thai has compiled an 18-13 record this season and brings greater professional experience against senior fields. Yen-Ni Chiang, a 15-year-old Taiwanese junior ranked around 270 in the ITF junior standings, qualified for the match and benefits from local support on home hard courts, yet possesses limited senior-level results. The first meeting pits Chanta’s established consistency and higher ranking against Chiang’s youth and potential, with surface familiarity and recent match activity shaping the competitive dynamics ahead of the June 23 encounter.
