Samsung Lions enter this KBO matchup with a stronger overall profile, holding a 23-16-1 record that places them third in the standings while Kia Tigers sit at 20-20-1 in fifth. Samsung’s pitching staff has posted a 3.99 ERA compared to Kia’s 4.55 mark, giving home starter Jack O’Loughlin a clear edge over Kia’s recent rotation options. The Lions also hit .270 as a unit versus Kia’s .258, though both clubs show power at the plate with double-digit home runs. Playing at Daegu Samsung Lions Park adds home-field familiarity and a slight offensive boost in warm conditions, factors that align with the current 64.5% implied probability favoring Samsung as traders weigh recent form, pitching reliability, and situational advantages in this interleague contest.
