David Njoku's recent one-year contract agreement with the Los Angeles Chargers, worth up to $8 million, has anchored trader consensus on his 2026-27 destination following nine seasons with the Cleveland Browns. The Pro Bowl tight end, who ranks second in Browns history among tight ends in receptions and touchdowns, entered free agency after his prior deal voided and quickly aligned with a team seeking veteran production to support quarterback Justin Herbert. This signing, completed in mid-May, accounts for the dominant implied probability reflected in current pricing, though scenarios such as contract restructuring, injury setbacks, or midseason roster moves could still shift the outcome.
