Mathys Erhard and Joel Schwaerzler meet in the semifinal of the 2026 Grodzisk Mazowiecki Challenger on outdoor hard courts, their second career matchup. Erhard enters on strong recent form after straight-set victories over Damir Dzumhur and Ivan Marrero Curbelo in the event, building on consistent results across recent ITF and Challenger clay and hard swings. Schwaerzler arrives with momentum from wins over Ilya Ivashka and Aziz Dougaz, showcasing improved serving and return play on the surface. Key factors include both players' fitness after a busy schedule, head-to-head history, and adaptation to hard-court conditions following earlier clay tournaments. The outcome hinges on baseline rallies, break-point conversion, and handling potential fatigue in a best-of-three format.
