**Rositsa Dencheva, the sixth seed and higher-ranked Bulgarian (around WTA 299-309), enters the semifinal with stronger recent momentum on clay after a comeback quarterfinal win over top seed Selena Janicijevic (5-7, 6-1, 6-1) and straight-set victories over Beatrice Ricci and Luna Vujovic in the W50 Kursumlijska Banja.** She has posted consistent results across multiple Serbian ITF events this summer, including strong doubles performances. Anja Stankovic, a Serbian qualifier ranked around 651, has advanced through a tough draw with three-set wins over Ikumi Yamazaki and Alina Granwehr plus a resilient quarterfinal victory over Elena Milovanovic, capitalizing on home-court familiarity at the venue where she has prior ITF success. The pair met earlier in 2026 at a W50 event in Haskovo, where Stankovic prevailed 6-4, 7-5. Both players favor clay, and the outcome hinges on serving consistency and break-point conversion in what shapes up as a competitive semifinal matchup.
