If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 BMW Championship is cancelled, postponed after September 5, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if an official Round 2 leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the event organizer or governing body. The BMW Championship field at Bellerive Country Club features the top 50 FedExCup players in a deep, balanced group with no dominant pre-tournament favorite emerging from recent form at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Multiple contenders including Scottie Scheffler, Viktor Hovland, Sam Burns, and Tommy Fleetwood enter on strong recent scoring, while course length and setup at the par-70 layout typically produce bunched leaderboards after 36 holes. Late qualification drama for bubble players such as Sungjae Im and Jordan Spieth adds uncertainty without shifting broad expectations. Trader consensus reflects this parity across the listed outcomes, as historical patterns at signature playoff events show frequent ties or narrow leads driven by variable early-round conditions rather than any single player's edge.
