Royal Challengers Bengaluru hold the edge in the 2026 IPL title race thanks to their strong league-stage form, led by Virat Kohli's prolific run-scoring and a balanced attack that has delivered consistent results. Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad remain close behind, bolstered by standout contributions from Shubman Gill and explosive middle-order batting, even as both sides manage key injury absences like Pat Cummins. Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals sit just off the pace with momentum from recent wins and solid all-round depth, while Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders trail amid roster disruptions. This bunched leaderboard reflects a season of high-scoring contests and evenly matched squads, where late surges or standout playoff performances could still shift the implied probabilities significantly.
