Carlos Alcaraz's sustained excellence on hard courts, including multiple recent Grand Slam titles and consistent top rankings, has driven overwhelming trader consensus for the 2026 Australian Open. His powerful baseline game, improved serve consistency, and strong head-to-head records against leading contenders create a significant edge in a deep field. While Grigor Dimitrov brings veteran poise and occasional upset potential on the surface, the current draw strength and Alcaraz's recent form leave little room for alternatives in market pricing. Scenarios such as a late injury, unexpected form dip, or breakout performance from a rising contender could still alter the outcome before the event concludes.
