The 2026 Liga Profesional features a split Apertura-Clausura format plus an overall "Campeón de Liga" title based on the aggregate table, leaving the race wide open after Belgrano claimed the Apertura. With Clausura just a handful of rounds old, early results show Vélez Sarsfield and Instituto atop Group A while several clubs post strong starts, preventing any single side from pulling clear. Rosario Central’s marginal edge reflects its prior aggregate pedigree and squad stability, yet the tight clustering around mid-tier sides stems from balanced fixtures, limited standout form, and the long runway to December. Trader consensus prices this as a highly competitive field where recent momentum and injury updates could rapidly shift implied probabilities.
