This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the A League Soccer for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of A League Soccer for the 2026-27 season per the rules of A League Soccer (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the A League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026–27 A-League Men campaign opens in mid-October with defending premiers Newcastle Jets and champions Auckland FC leading a tightly bunched field for runner-up honors. Pre-season transfers have reshuffled squads across the competition, including Auckland’s additions of Lachlan Bayliss and Aaron Calver alongside a coaching change, while Newcastle, Adelaide United, and Melbourne Victory face fixture congestion from Asian continental commitments. Historical ladder parity, recent form swings, and the absence of a clear standout after last season’s split winners keep implied probabilities clustered near 50 percent, reflecting trader consensus on widespread roster depth and schedule uncertainty rather than any single club’s dominance.
