This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Scottish Premiership for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Scottish Premiership for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Scottish Premiership (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Scottish Premiership; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Scottish Premiership season opened in late July with Celtic widely viewed as title favorites following their prior campaign, leaving a wide group of clubs with comparable implied probabilities to finish second. Pre-season previews and early matchweek results highlight an unusually open race for runner-up, driven by managerial transitions at Rangers and Aberdeen, significant squad turnover at Hearts after losing key personnel, and improved depth at clubs like Hibernian, Motherwell, and Dundee. Recent form, home/away splits, and European qualification implications add further uncertainty, as no single side has established clear separation in the battle for the top European spots behind the champions. Trader consensus reflects this parity, with historical patterns of mid-table volatility and the absence of a dominant challenger keeping probabilities tightly grouped.
