The 2026–27 Serbian SuperLiga season opened in mid-July with Red Star Belgrade installed as heavy favorites to claim a tenth straight title on the back of their squad depth, European experience, and consistent domestic dominance. With the champions widely expected to finish well clear, trader attention has shifted to an unusually open contest for second place. Early results show IMT, Čukarički, and Vojvodina among the frontrunners, yet no side has established clear separation after the opening weeks. Preseason transfers, the transitional 14-team format ahead of the reduction to 12 clubs, and the typical parity among Partizan, Novi Pazar, Radnički sides, and promoted sides have kept implied probabilities tightly clustered. This competitive balance, rather than any single standout challenger, continues to compress the runner-up market.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Serbian SuperLiga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Serbian SuperLiga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".

If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Serbian SuperLiga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
