Jacob Fearnley enters the Quebec City Challenger quarterfinal as the higher-ranked player at No. 107 against Taro Daniel (No. 186), with recent hard-court results and main-tour exposure in Montreal and Cincinnati supporting trader consensus around a 70% implied win probability. The 25-year-old Brit has posted strong wins over players like Mannarino and Ofner while advancing through the draw, including a straight-sets victory over Galarneau. Daniel, the 33-year-old veteran, arrives on an 8-2 run that includes three-set wins over Lajovic and straight-sets triumphs over Chan and Choinski, though his lower ranking and recent calf injury history limit upside. The outdoor hard-court matchup favors Fearnley's pace and return game in what remains a first-time meeting.
