Points from the 22-match regular season now carry forward fully into the split-phase format, heightening the stakes for the bottom group. Early results show Rapid Wien, LASK, Sturm Graz, and Red Bull Salzburg pulling ahead, while Grazer AK, TSV Hartberg, SCR Altach, WSG Tirol, SV Ried, and FK Austria Wien occupy the lower positions after heavy defeats and poor goal differences. Squad changes, including targeted signings at mid- and lower-table clubs, plus the promoted side’s adjustment to top-flight demands, represent the primary variables traders are weighing ahead of the winter break and the decisive relegation round.
