This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team earns a place in the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League through the 2026-27 Premier League season or by winning a 2026-27 UEFA club competition. Qualifying routes that count include the team’s final 2026-27 Premier League league position, winning a domestic cup competition that carries a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place, and earning a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by winning the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League or Europa League. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Premier League standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution. Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 Premier League season is cancelled or postponed past May 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Premier League campaign, now underway, will decide which clubs earn spots in the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League league phase, with England typically allocated four or five places based on UEFA coefficients and European Performance Spots. Arsenal enter as defending champions after their 2025-26 title, while Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Aston Villa carry strong recent European pedigrees and squad depth that support early market positioning. Key variables include summer transfer activity, managerial shifts such as Chelsea’s new leadership, and the impact of fixture congestion on clubs juggling domestic and continental schedules. Promoted sides and mid-table challengers like Tottenham or Newcastle could influence the upper table through momentum or upsets, though the established top clubs’ consistency in home/away form and injury management remain central to qualification probabilities. Early-season results and official injury reports will shape trader adjustments as the campaign progresses.
