The 2025-26 Premier League title race has settled into a battle for the five UEFA Champions League spots guaranteed by England's strong coefficient performance. Arsenal and Manchester City have already secured qualification, while Manchester United holds a solid buffer in third. Aston Villa's 4-2 victory over Liverpool last week lifted them into fourth and strengthened their grip on an automatic berth, leaving the Reds needing points in their remaining fixtures to hold fifth. Bournemouth sits sixth, just ahead of Brighton, with both sides eyeing the slim possibility of a sixth-place entry if Aston Villa wins the Europa League. Recent form, home advantage in the final rounds, and fixture congestion will shape the closing stages as clubs chase the league-phase spots.
