The value displayed on the counter will be used regardless of how it is calculated, so long as it represents cumulative deaths occurring across the marathon. It will not matter whether Lacy and Marlon complete the aforementioned challenge, nor whether they modify the rules of the challenge at any point, including by removing an objective.
If both Lacy's and Marlon's counters become clearly erroneous or clearly do not represent the cumulative number of in-game Warzone deaths during the entire marathon, the official broadcast will be used as a resolution source to measure the number of in-game Warzone deaths during the entire marathon.
