The Chicago Cubs hold the strongest position in the 2026 NL Central race thanks to their league-leading record and balanced roster. Strong offensive output combined with reliable starting pitching has kept them atop the division standings through mid-May, creating a clear separation from the rest of the field according to current trader consensus. The Milwaukee Brewers sit second with solid recent form and a deep pitching staff that has limited opponents effectively, though they trail in the standings. Pittsburgh Pirates and Cincinnati Reds remain in the mix at .500 or better, benefiting from competitive lineups and home performance but lacking the sustained edge seen at the top. The St. Louis Cardinals face the steepest climb with roster inconsistencies limiting their early momentum. These implied probabilities reflect ongoing divisional play where recent results and health continue to shape outcomes.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 National League Central division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”.
If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
