This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Comeback Player of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus has bunched the top NL Comeback Player of the Year probabilities tightly around 39–43% for Porter Hodge, Shota Imanaga, Sean Manaea, Brandon Woodruff, and Ezequiel Tovar, reflecting a crowded field where no single narrative dominates amid early-season surges post-injury or slump. Cubs righty Hodge has anchored the bullpen with a 27% strikeout rate over 33 innings after a shaky 2025 minor-league stint, while teammate Imanaga reclaimed ace form with a 0.87 WHIP and 38-to-9 K-BB ratio through May, rebounding from 2025 playoff woes. Manaea's Mets transition adds intrigue despite recent rehab stints, Woodruff's pre-injury dominance post-shoulder surgery faded with his May 1 IL placement for inflammation, and Tovar's elite shortstop defense bolsters his Rockies case despite a slow .197 start, keeping the wisdom of crowds evenly split.
