This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Rookie of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus on Polymarket reflects a razor-thin NL Rookie of the Year race, with Mets right-hander Nolan McLean edging ahead at 22.5% implied probability thanks to his stellar 2.78 ERA and 0.904 WHIP across eight starts, topping MLB's first 2026 ROY poll released two days ago. Reds first baseman Sal Stewart (20.5%) trails closely on raw power with 10 homers and 30 RBIs, while Pirates shortstop Konnor Griffin (20.0%) and Cardinals infielder JJ Wetherholt (19.5%) stay competitive via Griffin's .256 average and base-stealing flair, and Wetherholt's .783 OPS plus league-leading rookie .350 OBP. Differentiators include McLean's strikeout dominance versus the hitters' counting stats buildup; sustained health and team context through summer could swing momentum as voters weigh pitcher impact against position-player flash.
