The Milwaukee Brewers, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Atlanta Braves hold division leads and first-round byes in the projected National League bracket, positioning them as the strongest candidates to reach the NLCS following best-of-five Division Series play beginning October 3. The Phillies and Cubs have pulled ahead in the wild-card standings, while the Padres and Diamondbacks remain locked in a tight battle for the final berth ahead of Wild Card Series games starting September 29. Recent form, including the Braves’ strong late-August surge and the Dodgers’ consistent performance despite a mixed September slate, reinforces trader consensus around these clubs. Remaining schedule strength, bullpen health, and any late roster adjustments will influence advancement odds as the regular season concludes.
