The San Francisco Giants enter their upcoming series at loanDepot park with a 28-42 record, last in the NL West, while the Miami Marlins sit near .500 at 35-35 and fourth in the NL East. Multiple Giants injuries, including day-to-day lower-body issues for shortstop Willy Adames plus 15- and 60-day IL placements for starters Tyler Mahle and relievers such as Rowan Wick (post-Tommy John) and Matt Gage, have thinned their rotation and bullpen depth. Marlins pitching has shown better home results historically, and their recent form includes a win streak that has kept them competitive in the wild-card picture. Oracle Park’s pitcher-friendly dimensions have helped San Francisco in past home matchups, but road performance and roster attrition tilt implied probabilities toward Miami in the current series.
