This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 MLS Golden Boot. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLS rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 MLS Golden Boot race stays tightly contested after the opening stretch of the season, with Denis Bouanga and Petar Musa holding the slimmest of edges in trader consensus thanks to their proven finishing and early multi-goal outbursts. Bouanga’s rapid hat trick for LAFC and sustained threat from the left channel have kept him narrowly ahead, while Musa’s clinical output for FC Dallas, including his own three-goal haul, maintains near parity. Hugo Cuypers, Lionel Messi, and a deep group of forwards like Prince-Osei Owusu and Sam Surridge sit close behind, all benefiting from favorable schedules and attacking systems that reward consistent chance creation. This bunched field reflects the league’s typical scoring volatility, where small differences in minutes, set-piece involvement, and team form can shift the leaderboard quickly.
