Bradley Beal has agreed to a two-year, $13.2 million contract with the LA Clippers featuring a player option for the second season, per multiple reports including from ESPN’s Shams Charania and The Athletic. After declining his prior $5.6 million player option to test free agency following a season-ending hip fracture that limited him to six games, the 33-year-old veteran explored interest from the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics but ultimately returned to Los Angeles on a deal that exceeds typical minimum offers. This outcome reflects the Clippers’ roster continuity needs amid uncertainty around Kawhi Leonard, Beal’s familiarity with the system, and limited suitor leverage given his recent injury history and age. The 99.8% implied probability in the market aligns with confirmed reporting that the agreement is in place. Late developments such as an unexpected contract collapse or a superior offer materializing remain theoretically possible but lack supporting evidence at this stage.
