Preseason media polls place Navy narrowly ahead of Memphis, UTSA, South Florida, and East Carolina based on returning production and coaching continuity under Brian Newberry, while Army, Tulane, and others sit close behind in projected win totals. Offseason transfers, NIL investments, and schedule strength have leveled talent across most programs, producing similar SP+ projections clustered between 63rd and 80th nationally. With no dominant frontrunner and games still months away, traders price nearly every listed team near even odds, reflecting the conference's depth and inherent unpredictability.
