This market will resolve to the player who wins the Calder Memorial Trophy for the 2026-27 NHL season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NHL rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 NHL season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Calder Trophy market remains tightly contested because the incoming rookie class features a deep pool of high-end 2026 NHL Draft talent with comparable offensive upside and limited prior NHL experience. Gavin McKenna, the top overall selection expected to join the Maple Leafs, sits at the front of trader pricing thanks to his NCAA production and skill set, yet Ivar Stenberg, Markus Ruck, and several other first-rounders trail closely as teams finalize rosters and ice-time distributions. Early preseason developments, including camp performances and projected lineup spots for defensemen and forwards alike, have yet to create meaningful separation. With most contenders still unproven at the NHL level and multiple organizations offering plausible pathways to significant minutes, the wisdom of crowds reflected in current probabilities underscores the wide-open nature of the award before the regular season begins.
