This market will resolve to the player who wins the Calder Memorial Trophy for the 2026-27 NHL season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NHL rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 NHL season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Calder Trophy race remains tightly contested among multiple high-profile rookies because no single prospect has separated from the pack entering training camp. Gavin McKenna, the No. 1 overall pick by Toronto, headlines a deep 2026 draft class alongside Porter Martone in Philadelphia, Ivar Stenberg in San Jose, Cole Hutson on the Washington blue line, and Anton Frondell in Chicago. Each is projected for significant ice time and top-six or power-play roles that could drive point totals, yet historical variance in rookie production, linemate quality, and team deployment creates broad uncertainty. Recent prospect rankings and early betting markets reflect this balance, with implied probabilities clustered as traders weigh comparable paths to 50-plus points against the inherent unpredictability of first-year NHL adjustment.
