The early 2026-27 Serie A campaign features a wide-open capocannoniere race across nationalities, with no player or country establishing clear dominance after the opening matches. Argentina’s position reflects Lautaro Martínez’s status as defending champion and Inter’s consistent attacking output, though his slow start keeps the implied probability modest. Italy benefits from depth among domestic forwards like Francesco Pio Esposito and others in strong attacking setups, while Portugal gains traction from Gonçalo Ramos’s integration at Milan. France draws support from Marcus Thuram’s proven finishing alongside Martínez, and Belgium’s chances hinge on Kevin De Bruyne’s creative influence at Napoli. The bunched pricing captures this balance of established stars, new signings, and early form indicators like Donyell Malen’s (Netherlands) hot streak, leaving ample room for shifts as the schedule unfolds.
