Eastern Europe & CIS squads hold an overwhelming edge in the trader consensus for The International 2026 due to their continued dominance across recent Tier-1 events and the regional qualifier bracket. Multiple direct invites went to established rosters such as Team Spirit, BetBoom, and Yandex, while the Europe qualifier produced four additional EEU/CIS representatives through double-elimination play that eliminated stronger Western European sides. This concentration of talent, bolstered by recent strong showings at the Esports World Cup 2026 and consistent head-to-head results against other regions, explains the 78.5% implied probability. China and Western Europe retain realistic paths through invited teams like Xtreme Gaming, Falcons, Liquid, and Tundra, yet lack the same depth of contenders, keeping their probabilities in the low double digits. North America, Southeast Asia, and South America trail further behind on both recent form and slot allocation.

Each team's region is determined by the region under which it is listed on Liquipedia's Dota 2 Teams Portal (https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Portal:Teams) as of the conclusion of the event. The recognized regions are those used on that page: Europe, CIS, China, Southeast Asia, North America, and South America.
This market resolves to the region under which the team that wins the Grand Final is listed on the Teams Portal.
If the winning team is not listed on the Teams Portal, its region will be determined by the regional affiliation on the team's own Liquipedia page.
If The International 2026 is canceled or no champion is crowned by September 6, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other."
The primary resolution source will be Liquipedia's Dota 2 Teams Portal (https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Portal:Teams); a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
