Jeff Bezos holds the clearest edge in the Seahawks ownership market due to his longstanding Seattle roots through Amazon and repeated prior speculation around NFL team acquisitions. The sale process, initiated by the Paul Allen estate earlier this year and expected to stretch through the 2026 offseason, has drawn a broad field of rumored bidders, yet trader pricing favors Bezos because of his local business footprint and history of expressing interest in franchise ownership. Celebrity names like LeBron James, Tim Cook, and Mark Zuckerberg sit at much lower implied probabilities, reflecting limited confirmed ties to the team or region compared with Bezos. Recent reports have surfaced other potential groups, including Boston Celtics investors and limited partners from other NFL clubs, underscoring the still-fluid nature of the bidding and the premium markets place on verifiable local or sports-business connections.
