Recent developments in Counter-Strike 2 have centered on Valve's April 28 patch, which introduced a fully reworked Cache to Competitive, Casual, Deathmatch, and Retakes modes with updated Source 2 visuals, lighting, and minor layout tweaks. The map remains outside the official Premier and Active Duty pro pool, with community and insider reports indicating a likely addition after the IEM Cologne Major to align with Premier Season 5. This timing follows years of fan demand and Valve's pattern of testing community maps before full integration, while roster stability and meta shifts among top teams could influence how quickly it enters rotation. Traders are monitoring Valve's post-major communications for confirmation, as historical map-pool rotations have typically followed major events rather than immediate rollout.
